Seeds
Brilliant white, smooth, and tightly domed cauliflower heads with a mild, sweet flavor.
This hybrid cauliflower is bred for reliability, producing dense, heavy curds that are well-protected by self-wrapping inner leaves, which helps maintain their bright white color. It is vigorous and uniform, ensuring a high-quality harvest even under fluctuating weather conditions. The tender florets are highly versatile in the kitchen, perfect for roasting, mashing as a low-carb alternative, or traditional steaming.
Light
Needs full sun, at least 6 hours a day. Self wrapping inner leaves protect the curd from sun, and in warm weather you can fold the outer leaves over it to keep it white.
Water
Needs consistent moisture, with deep, even watering of about 2.5 cm a week or more. Inconsistent watering is a leading cause of small or loose curds, so mulch and water regularly.
Humidity
Average humidity suits it. Water at soil level, avoid wetting the curd, and keep plants spaced so air moves freely and fungal problems stay away.
Temperature
The most heat sensitive of the brassicas, growing well from about 10 to 28 C, with the firmest curds at 15 to 24 C. Sow from September to November on the plains. In 35 C+ heat plants survive under shade net with mulch and steady water, but curds stay small, so aim to finish before it warms.

Pet-safe
Soil
Fertile, well drained, organic rich soil with a pH of about 6.0 to 7.0. Mix in compost or vermicompost and keep the bed evenly moist.
Fertilizer
A heavy feeder that dislikes too much nitrogen late on. Use a balanced starter fertiliser at transplanting, then side dress with nitrogen when plants have 5 to 6 leaves, avoiding heavy feeding as the curd forms.
