Cookie Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Sites can also keep information in your browser's local storage (kept until cleared) and session storage (cleared when you close the tab). This page lists everything muffinplants.com stores, what it's for and how to control it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information more generally.

1. Essential

These make sign-in, the basket and checkout work. The site can't work properly without them.

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Its cookies link your visits to a random ID rather than your name. Google processes this data under its privacy policy.

On your first visit we ask whether you allow these cookies. In the European Union, the UK and Switzerland they stay off unless you allow them; elsewhere they're on unless you decline. Either way, your choice is remembered on your device and you can change it below. Analytics never runs on the shop's admin pages, and the private codes in order and unsubscribe links are removed before a page address is sent.

4. What we don't use

We don't use advertising or remarketing cookies, and we don't embed social media widgets or video players that set their own cookies.

5. Controlling cookies

You can view, block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser's settings (usually under Privacy or Site settings). To stop Google Analytics on every site, install Google's opt-out browser add-on. Blocking essential cookies or storage will stop sign-in, the basket or checkout from working.
